WORKING AT A CABLE PLANT

Techno Cable Group is a full-cycle manufacturer: from the drawing of copper and aluminium wire rod to finished 35 kV power cables. The product range includes more than 60 types of cable and wire products, and the plant operates in several shifts.

The company employs more than 400 people: extrusion, stranding and wire-drawing line operators, machine setters, process engineers, quality control engineers, laboratory technicians, and sales and foreign trade specialists. Production is growing, so recruitment is ongoing.

People join our lines from mechanical engineering, metallurgy and the textile industry — a basic technical education and a willingness to work shifts matter more than industry-specific experience. Every newcomer is assigned a mentor for the first month.

WHAT WE OFFER

Conditions are the same for the production areas and the office — only the working hours differ.

Official employment

An employment contract under the Labour Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan from your first working day. Paid leave, sick pay and a full official service record.

Salary paid on time

Paid twice a month to your bank card. For production areas – a bonus for meeting the shift plan.

On-the-job training

A paid induction period and a mentor for the first month. Certifications, skill grades and further training – at the company's expense.

Transport to the plant

Company buses from Tashkent and Zangiata for the start of every shift and back again after it ends.

Meals and workwear

Hot lunches in the plant canteen. A set of workwear, safety footwear and personal protective equipment – at the company's expense.

Growth within the company

A clear career ladder: operator – machine setter – shift foreman – section manager. More than half of our foremen came up from shop-floor trades.

Cable Production Process Engineer

12 – 18 million UZS

Developing and supporting the process technology at every production stage — from wire drawing to the finished cable on the drum.

Responsibilities

  • Developing process charts for new cable types
  • Calculating material consumption rates and permissible waste
  • Introducing new lines, formulations and materials into production
  • Analysing the causes of defects and implementing corrective actions

Requirements

  • Higher technical education: electrical engineering, polymers or metallurgy
  • At least 3 years' experience as a process engineer in cable or related manufacturing
  • Knowledge of GOST and IEC standards for cable and wire products
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel

Wire Drawer (Drawing Machine Operator)

Drawing copper and aluminium wire rod down to the required wire diameter — the first stage of cable production.

Responsibilities

  • Operating the coarse and intermediate wire-drawing machines
  • Replacing drawing dies, monitoring their wear and surface quality
  • Measuring the wire diameter with a micrometer according to the inspection schedule
  • Monitoring the emulsion and the annealing conditions

Requirements

  • Technical education or experience in metallurgical or mechanical engineering production
  • Accuracy in measurements
  • Physical stamina
  • Candidates without experience are trained with a mentor

Extrusion Line Operator

Applying insulation and sheath on an extrusion line. You will work on modern European equipment — we train you on your specific line during the induction period.

Responsibilities

  • Starting up the line and setting the temperature zones according to the process chart
  • Checking the diameter and insulation thickness, operating the spark tester
  • Loading raw material, monitoring pellet consumption and waste
  • Keeping the shift log and handing over the shift

  • Secondary vocational or technical education
  • At least 1 year of experience operating production equipment
  • Close attention to process parameters, accuracy
  • Willingness to work a 2/2 shift pattern
