Screened control cable with copper conductors
KVVGE is a control cable with a copper screen over the stranded insulated cores. The screen protects control circuit signals from external electromagnetic interference (electric motors, variable-frequency drives, power busbars). It is used in industrial process control systems and systems with sensitive electronics. Designation breakdown of the added letter: E – screen.

KVVGE is the screened version of KVVG for installation in places with strong electromagnetic interference. The copper screen over the stranded cores reduces the effect of external interference from motors, variable-frequency drives and power busbars – critical for 4-20 mA analogue signals, measuring circuits and sensor communication lines.
It is used in industrial process control systems at industrial plants, in automation systems at power facilities, and for connecting sensitive electronics to controllers. The screen must be earthed (usually at one end – on the PLC side) for effective protection against interference.
Conductors
Solid copper with colour coding.
Insulation
PVC compound.
Stranding
The insulated cores are stranded together to form the cable core.
Electromagnetic screen
Tinned copper wires forming a dense braid over the stranded cores. Coverage of at least 80%. Protects signals from external electromagnetic interference.
Sheath
Black PVC compound.
