Flame-retardant control cable with low smoke emission
KVVGng(A)-LS is a control cable with copper conductors in low-fire-hazard PVC insulation (ng, category A) with low smoke and gas emission (LS). For installing control and signalling circuits in places with large numbers of people and bunched installation of cable lines.

KVVGng(A)-LS is a control cable for use in places with heightened fire safety requirements. The low-fire-hazard PVC insulation and sheath do not propagate flame in bunched cable installation (category A is the most stringent under GOST 31565-2012), and the low smoke emission (LS) maintains visibility along escape routes in a fire.
It is used for installing control and signalling circuits in schools, hospitals, shopping malls, metro systems and high-rise buildings. Low smoke emission is especially important in places with large numbers of people: any smoke worsens evacuation conditions. For circuits that must remain operational during a fire, fire-resistant cables with the FR index are used.
Conductors
Solid copper.
Insulation
Low-fire-hazard PVC compound (ng, cat. A) with colour coding.
Stranding
The insulated cores are stranded together to form the cable core.
Sheath
Low-fire-hazard PVC compound with low smoke and gas emission (LS – Low Smoke).
