Reduced-flammability power cable with low smoke emission
VVGng(A)-LS — power cable with copper conductors in low-fire-hazard PVC compound (ng — flame-retardant, category A) with low smoke and gas emission (LS — Low Smoke). For installation in places with large numbers of people: schools, hospitals, shopping centres, metro.
The cable geometry is identical to VVG; the difference is the PVC compound formulation — reduced flammability and smoke emission. Full range of cross-sections: 1.5 — 800 mm².

VVGng(A)-LS is a modification of VVG for facilities with increased fire safety requirements. The insulation and sheath are made of low-fire-hazard PVC compounds with low smoke and gas emission.
Designation breakdown: ng — does not propagate flame in bunched installation (category A — the most stringent); LS (Low Smoke) — when burning, emits 5-7 times less smoke than conventional PVC. This is critical for evacuation in the event of a fire. Used in schools, hospitals, shopping malls, high-rise buildings, metro and transport infrastructure facilities.

Stranded copper.
Insulation
Low-fire-hazard PVC compound (ng, category A).
Stranding
The insulated cores are stranded into a core, with a tape wrapping where required.
Sheath
Low-fire-hazard PVC compound with low smoke and gas emission (LS – Low Smoke).
