The table is given for 6/10 kV as the most common voltage in distribution networks. Versions for 3.6/6, 8.7/15, 12/20 and 18/30 kV are also produced – their parameters differ in insulation thickness and overall dimensions.

Description of APvBV cable

APvBV is the most economical solution for installing medium-voltage trunk distribution lines in ground. It combines three factors: aluminium conductors (~3× cheaper than copper), XLPE insulation (long service life and overload resistance) and steel armour (mechanical protection).

Its main application is the 6-10 kV urban cable networks of Uzbekistan: supplying transformer substations, inter-network tie lines and trunk lines to large consumers (industrial enterprises, new residential complexes). It is also used at 15-35 kV for remote facilities and in the power industry.

Applications

6-35 kV trunk distribution networks in ground
Urban cable lines between transformer substations
Long routes for supplying remote facilities
Industrial enterprises with heavy loads
The most economical solution for large-cross-section MV cables in ground
