APVBVNG(A)

Armoured low-fire-hazard power cable 6-35 kV

APvBVng(A) is the armoured version of APvV with a low-fire-hazard PVC sheath (ng, category A). It is used for MV trunk lines installed in ground or under mechanical loads at facilities with stricter fire safety requirements for bunched installation.

Voltage 6 – 35 kV
Conductor Aluminium
Protection Armour + PVC ng

APvBVng(A) cable description

APvBVng(A) is an armoured MV cable with a low-fire-hazard outer sheath. It combines three advantages: XLPE insulation (reliability under overload), steel armour (mechanical protection for installation in ground) and low-flammability PVC (does not propagate flame in bunched installation at fire-hazardous facilities).

It is used for MV trunk lines in the underground structures of shopping malls, metro systems and office centres with their own substations – wherever a cable laid in ground must meet fire safety requirements at the point where it enters the premises.

Applications

MV trunk lines in ground beneath high-occupancy facilities
Underground transformer substations of shopping and office centres
Routes between buildings with bunched cable installation
Conditions with mechanical loads + fire safety requirements
Replacement for APvBV in bunched installation
