APuV is a widely used installation wire for fixed installation in the lighting and power networks of buildings. A single aluminium conductor with PVC insulation. It is used for wiring electrical installations with a rated voltage of up to 450 V (up to 750 V in 450/750 V networks).
The main application is electrical wiring in residential, public and industrial buildings and the connection of electrical appliances. It is laid in cable ducts, conduits and trays, in walls and ceilings. Where aluminium is connected to copper contacts, special Al-Cu connectors are required to prevent electrochemical corrosion.
Conductor
Aluminium, solid (for cross-sections up to 16 mm²) or stranded (25 mm² and above) per GOST 22483. Class 1 or 2.
Insulation
PVC compound. Thickness from 0.7 to 2.6 mm depending on the cross-section. Colour coding per GOST: blue – N, yellow-green – PE, brown/black/grey – phases.
