PuGV wire description

PuGV is a flexible installation wire for wiring in conditions that require frequent bending and re-routing. Class 5 per GOST 22483 provides sufficient flexibility: a minimum bending radius of just 3ר (compared with 6ר for rigid PuV).

It is used for wiring in control cabinets and automation panels, in electrical equipment with movable terminals and in vibration conditions. The optimal choice for jumpers between terminal blocks and devices inside cabinets. Not intended for fixed installation in walls – ordinary PuV is used there.

Applications

Wiring of electrical installations with frequent bending of wires
Control circuits connected to movable terminals
Wiring in vibration conditions (control panels, automation cabinets)
Internal wiring of electrical equipment
Jumpers between terminal blocks and devices

Construction

1

Conductor

Stranded copper of flexibility class 5 per GOST 22483. A large number of fine wires (up to 1200 and more for the larger cross-sections) provides high flexibility under repeated bending.

2

Insulation

High-elasticity PVC compound with colour coding.
