The Uzbekistan Center for Chemical Technologies research and design centre in the Ulugbek chemical science cluster
The Uzbekistan Center for Chemical Technologies (UzCCT) is a research and design institute being established in the Ulugbek chemical science cluster in Tashkent Region. The project is being implemented jointly by Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea: on the Uzbek side by Uzkimyosanoat JSC, and on the Korean side by the KRICT institute and the KOICA agency.
The total project budget is 47 million US dollars: 40 million dollars of concessional financing through the EDCF and a 7 million dollar grant from KOICA. Completion of the works is scheduled for 2026.
