Armoured fire-resistant halogen-free power cable
PBPng(A)-FRHF is an armoured fire-resistant power cable with copper conductors, a mica-based fire barrier, and insulation and sheath made of halogen-free polymer compounds. It combines three critical protective properties: FR – fire resistance (≥ 90 min at 750°C), ng(A) – flame-retardant in bunched installation, HF – halogen-free, plus additional armour made of galvanised steel tapes for installation in ground and under mechanical loads. Designation breakdown: P – halogen-free polymer insulation, B – steel tape armour, P – halogen-free polymer sheath, ng(A) + FRHF – fire-resistant, flame-retardant, halogen-free.
Types and sizes of the armoured fire-resistant halogen-free cable. The geometry is similar to VBShvng(A)-FRLS; the difference is the halogen-free composition of the insulation and sheath.

PBPng(A)-FRHF is the top of TCG's range of fire-resistant halogen-free armoured cables. It combines all the critically important protective properties in a single design:
It is used in the most critical projects: fire protection systems of metro systems and tunnels, trunk lines of critical nuclear power plant systems, oil and gas facilities, and sea-going vessels. It is particularly appropriate where both mechanical protection (installation in ground or in places with vibration/impacts) and the full set of fire-safety properties are required.
Conductors
Stranded copper, 1-5 cores.
Fire barrier
Mica-based tape over each conductor. Maintains circuit integrity of the cable at 750°C for ≥ 90 minutes (GOST R 53316).
Insulation
Low-fire-hazard polymer compound containing no halogens.
Stranding and bedding under the armour
The insulated cores are stranded together, with a bedding of halogen-free compound over them.
Armour
Two galvanised steel tapes, applied helically with a gap of no more than 50% of the tape width.
Outer sheath
Halogen-free polymer compound (HF). Emits no corrosive gases or acrid smoke when burning.
