Household flat flexible copper wire

PUGNP is a flat flexible household wire with stranded copper conductors of flexibility class 5, PVC insulation and a common PVC sheath. It is used where flexibility is required: connection of household appliances with moving parts, extension cords. Designation breakdown: P – flat, U – installation wire, G – flexible, N – fixed (stationary), P – plastic sheath.

PUGNP wire description

PUGNP is a flexible flat household wire for applications where the ordinary rigid PUNP is inconvenient. The stranded copper conductors of flexibility class 5 bend easily and do not break under repeated flexing.

Main applications: extension cords and portable extension leads with a flat sheath, connection of portable household appliances (radios, audio equipment, lamps, charging stations), decorative wiring under skirting boards or along walls. The small cross-sections of 0.35-1 mm² suit low-current appliances; 1.5-4 mm² are for socket groups with flexible wiring.
