TCG overhead ground wires and optical ground wires for 35-1150 kV overhead power lines. GTK — a conventional ground wire of aluminium-clad steel wires for protecting overhead lines against lightning strikes. OKGT (OPGW) — an optical cable built into the ground wire, performing two functions at once: lightning protection of the overhead line and a fibre-optic communication channel. Three OKGT designs are available: with a central module (Ts), with a module in an Al sheath (Ts-A), and with modules in the stranded layer (S). OKGT cables are manufactured to individual calculations — we will collect all the necessary requirements and select a unique configuration for your project.
